More Bridal Options in Pittsburgh October 5, 2010

Think you can only find your wedding dress in a big city? One Pittsburgh bride proves that’s not true – after trips to LA and NYC she found her wedding dress at Tomasina in Pittsburgh. If you haven’t heard of Tomasina you need to see some of their beautiful dresses!

How vintage and romantic!

How did I hear about Tomasina wedding dresses? After looking to this beautiful real wedding for inspiration. It didn’t take place in Pittsburgh but the Pittsburgh bride did come here to buy her wedding dress so it still counts as a real Pittsburgh wedding!

The bride’s Tomasina dress is just to die for! And look at that beautiful backdrop. I guess I understand why she choose to get married in Idaho.

A Little Daily Inspiration October 2, 2010

I seriously have an unnatural obsession with clothes pins at weddings.  Monogrammed clothes pins holding your wedding rings? Pure perfection.

I was soooooo excited to see this wedding because of all it’s homey touches and then I realized – IT’S IN WESTERN PA! All the more reason to check out this Armstrong Farm wedding photographed by Our Labor Of Love.

What better way to cheer up your rainy day then with something beautiful to look at! Mocha Rose Floral Designs here in Pittsburgh offers just that.

I found Mocha Rose Floral Designs while scouring Pittsburgh Magazine’s Real Pittsburgh Weddings section (one of my favorites).  I love their versatility – be it country chic or downtown elegance – their portfolio really speaks for itself. Check out their blog to see some of the real weddings they’ve provided florals for. While I was on there I was instantly impressed with their design studio! Who wouldn’t want to talk wedding florals in a setting like this?!

I’ve never been a huge fan of engagement photos. Mostly because I don’t see the need for an engagement announcement. I’m not a face in the newspaper kind of girl. I do however love a good photo, especially a candid one. I’m a sucker for love – after all that’s why I love weddings. And In-Vision Studio’s engagement shoots. A little love gives Pittsburgh a new light.

Brooke & Nate’s Pittsburgh wedding made me want to spend some time in a Monique Lhuillier dress. I may still be waiting but these lucky brides got their own fairytale princess dress.
